sustainable Growth

Infrastructure Projects

Investing in core infrastructure—roads, sidewalks, sewer systems, and stormwater management—is essential to Winfield’s long-term success. The Town Council has already made meaningful progress on these projects and continued improvement will require thoughtful planning and collaboration. By working with neighboring towns and cities, we can address shared challenges more efficiently and strengthen regional partnerships.

I am committed to regularly reviewing long-term infrastructure plans to ensure they align with our town’s growth and changing needs. Through open communication and cooperation with nearby mayors and councils, we can build a safer, stronger future for our community.

Preventing DEVELOPMENT that strains our existing INFRASTRUCTURE

Growth must be carefully measured and assessed against our town's ability to support it. We will not permit the construction of new neighborhoods until there is sufficient infrastructure to accommodate the additional residents. This includes adequate roads, public safety resources, and utilities.

I will oppose any developer who proposes adding hundreds of homes to our community if it would overload our town's public safety services and utilities. Furthermore, any developer must adhere to town standards and invest in our community's infrastructure and beautification initiatives.

Committed to high-quality homes and businesses

In today’s market, the push for rapid, low-cost development often comes at the expense of quality and community character. Poor construction, overcrowded lots and neglected landscaping can undermine the long-term value of our town. Winfield deserves development that enhances—not diminishes—our neighborhoods. I am committed to working only with reputable builders who deliver high-quality homes at fair prices. New homes and businesses should meet our needs while contributing to the beauty and pride of our community.
